Huh Yunjin, a member of the K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM, will be absent from the group’s upcoming fan signing event due to the recent passing of a family member. Source Music, the group’s agency, announced this on May 12, 2023, via the fan community platform Weverse.
In their official statement, Source Music expressed condolences and requested understanding from fans as Yunjin takes time to grieve with her family. They also extended heartfelt sympathies to Yunjin and her loved ones during this difficult period.
LE SSERAFIM recently released their first full-length album, “UNFORGIVEN,” on May 1, 2023, and have been actively promoting it. Despite the group’s busy schedule, Yunjin’s health and well-being remain a priority.
Fans, known as FEARNOTs, have shown an outpouring of support and condolences for Yunjin across various social media platforms. Many have expressed their sympathies and encouraged her to take the necessary time to heal.
This isn’t the first time Yunjin has had to step back from group activities. In October 2022, she and fellow member Kim Chaewon were involved in a minor car accident, resulting in the cancellation of several scheduled performances and fan events. Both members sustained mild injuries and were advised to rest and recover before resuming activities.
The group’s management has consistently emphasized the importance of the members’ health and has adjusted schedules accordingly to ensure their well-being.
